Welcome to the first signature jewellery range under the CARLI name. For three decades I've designed jewellery under other names — in studios, for established jewellery houses, in campaigns few people ever traced back to me.CARLI is the first collection to carry this name: my nickname I've loved since childhood.I'm looking forward to working directly with the people who will inevitably be wearing my creations.

CARLI

For more than three decades, jewellery has been the constant thread throughout my life.Trained as a gold and silversmith, I began my career at the bench, hand-crafting pieces and developing a deep respect for form, balance and fine detail. In my early twenties I launched my first jewellery business under my given names, before my career evolved into designing for established jewellery houses.Over the years I moved from traditional bench work into advanced 3D computer-aided design, allowing me to combine the heritage of craftsmanship with the precision of modern technology. Throughout this time I created collections and individual pieces that were worn and treasured by many — often without the wearer ever knowing the designer behind them.My work has appeared in publications such as Vogue and The Courier-Mail, including a wedding feature showcasing a tiara and bridal jewellery I designed. I have also had the honour of presenting a handcrafted piece to Her Royal Highness Princess Anne for Griffith University at the Gold Coast campus during her visit to Queensland in 2000. During my time designing for Michael Hill, I created a 22-carat diamond ring and presentation box for an international competition prize that was part of a global campaign.Yet until now, my own design voice has remained largely behind the scenes. The name of my business comes from the nickname my family and close friends have called me since childhood. A name that feels personal, familiar and true.It seemed only fitting that after all these years of designing for others, I would finally introduce my own style under the name that has always been privately mine. This is my name.
This is my style.

Bespoke Process — What to Expect

CARLI

Every Carli creation is designed to celebrate the individual wearer while cherishing the beauty of our metal and stones.I invite you to co-create a bespoke piece, shaped by your story and my decades of experience — from initial ideas to the final creation, each design is a journey we take together.Whether you're celebrating a milestone, redesigning a sentimental piece or simply creating something unique, your story is at the heart of the design.

If you're curious whether this journey suits your vision, I invite you to book a relaxed, no-obligation 15-minute conversation to explore what you have in mind and decide together if creating a piece feels right.
Bookings open Wednesday 11:30–12:30pm and Thursday 4:00–5:00pm.

BESPOKE JOURNEY OUTLINE | FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

CARLI -BESPOKE JOURNEY OUTLINE

Step 1 — Free Discovery Call (15 min)We begin with a complimentary 15-minute conversation to explore your vision and decide together if creating a piece feels right. It's a relaxed, no-pressure chance to talk through your story — with no obligation to proceed.
Bookings open Monday 9–11am and Wednesday 2–5pm.
Step 2 — Design Consultation (1hr, $250)Once we've decided to move forward, I'll send you a link to book a dedicated one-hour Zoom consultation. This is where we go deeper — gemstones, materials, styles and the meaning behind your piece. The $250 fee secures your session and covers both this one-hour consultation and your later 30-minute Design Presentation. It's credited toward your final commission if you proceed. It's otherwise non-refundable, as it reflects the time and expertise involved in developing your design direction.Design Consultations are offered by appointment, with limited weekly availability — once we've spoken, I'll be in touch with a small selection of times to choose from.Step 3 — Quote and DepositFollowing our consultation, I'll prepare a detailed quote for your piece — either as a full breakdown of centre stone and mount, or as a single price for the entire piece, depending on what best suits your design.
Once your quote is approved, a 50% deposit is required before your design moves into CAD and production. The balance is payable prior to delivery.
Step 4 — Design Presentation (30 min)Once your deposit is received, I get to work translating everything we've discussed into a precise 3D CAD design. When it's ready, I'll reach out to arrange a 30-minute review session at a time that suits us both. Timing depends on the complexity of your piece and what needs to be sourced.
This session is included as part of your Design Consultation fee. Two rounds of refinement are covered at this stage, with any additional changes available for a fee.
Step 5 — Manufacturing and DeliveryAfter you approve the design, my trusted artisans bring your bespoke piece to life. Each element is carefully custom made — produced, assembled, cleaned, set and polished before being delivered to you in luxurious presentation.
Manufacturing takes six to eight weeks from your go-ahead. Fine jewellery can't be rushed — every piece deserves the time it takes to be made properly, and I'll keep you informed every step of the way.

CARLI -FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the discovery call really free?
Yes — completely. It's a relaxed, no-obligation 15-minute conversation to talk through your idea and see if we're a good fit to work together.
When can I book a discovery call?
Discovery calls are available Wednesday 10–11am and Thursday 1–2pm.
What happens after the discovery call?
If we both feel it's the right fit, I'll send you a link to book your Design Consultation ($250), where we explore the details of your piece in depth.
Is the $250 consultation fee refundable?
It's credited toward your final piece if you proceed with the commission. It's otherwise non-refundable, as it covers the time and expertise involved in developing your design direction, and includes both your one-hour Design Consultation and your later 30-minute Design Presentation.
How is my piece quoted?
Depending on your design, I'll quote either the centre stone and mount separately or the piece as a whole. Whichever suits your design best, the quote will always be clear before any deposit is requested.
Do I need to pay a deposit before you start designing?
A 50% deposit is required once your quote is approved, before your design moves into CAD and production. The remaining balance is due prior to delivery.
How long does the whole process take?
Manufacturing takes six to eight weeks from your design go-ahead. Because every piece is created individually — and fine jewellery can't be rushed — timing may vary slightly depending on your design and the materials involved.
How many design revisions are included?
Two rounds of refinement are included as part of the Design Presentation stage. Additional changes beyond this are available for a fee.
Do I need to know exactly what I want before booking?
Not at all. Many clients begin with just a feeling or a story — my role is to help translate that into a design. Most clients no what they don't like but find it harder to articulate what they do like.
Can I redesign a sentimental piece I already own?
Absolutely — this is one of the most meaningful parts of bespoke work. We can talk through your options during the discovery call.
